Serving Troy, MI

The luxurious appeal of the Genesis line is on full display for you to admire at our Troy-area dealership. Many of our customers are drawn to the alluring G80, an executive sedan that debuted its second generation in 2020. The G90 is a larger sedan that may also capture your attention with its sophistication. While the 2021 Genesis G80 and the 2021 G90 are both easy on the eyes, a thorough review of these models reveals the many ways that these sedans differ.

The differences are immediately noticed when you test drive the G80 and the G90 at Genesis of Troy. The 2021 G80 is available with two engine options. The possibilities are a 300-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine, and a 375-horsepower, twin-turbo V6, 3.5-liter engine. Both powertrains are connected to an eight-speed auto transmission and are available with all-wheel drive. The 2021 Genesis G90 is also available with two powertrains, and these are tied to an eight-speed auto transmission with an optional all-wheel drive. The G90’s powertrains are a 365-horsepower, twin-turbo V6, and a 420-horsepower, V8, 5.0-liter engine.

Both sedans have an excitingly smooth definition that rolls fluidly from end to end. They also share the same grille design with a diamond-like mesh backing. The G80’s headlights are defined by dual LED bars that are separated horizontally by a body-colored accent piece. This same bar theme extends to the accents near the front-wheel fenders. The G90’s headlights are equally stunning, and they have a single light beam running horizontally through the lamps. This beam is topped by another separated light bar. The accent piece near the front fender also has the same single-bar design.

While there are modest differences between the 2021 G80’s interior and the G90’s interior, these coveted models have numerous common features. For example, they both have premium leather material, wood trim, a rotary gear selector, ambient lighting, and smart device integration. They also come with cloud-based driving profiles, a surround-view monitor, a keyless ignition, and more. In the G90, you can appreciate a few extras like a Lexicon sound system, a heads-up display, and a rear entertainment system.
