2021 Genesis GV80 vs 2020 Audi Q7

Serving Troy, MI

The all-new Genesis GV80 offers plenty for Troy’s SUV shoppers to be excited about. This is the first SUV manufactured by Genesis, and it delivers the regal yet modern class that the brand is known for in a truly stunning design. However, before you lock in your plans to purchase your GV80, you need to learn how it compares to other popular models. The 2020 Audi Q7 is a midsize luxury crossover like the GV80, so how do these popular models compare against each other?

The stunning exterior of the 2021 GV80 is unlike any other model on the road today. While this is a large vehicle with a spacious cabin, the dimensions appear softened by the rolling curves across the otherwise smooth hood, sides, and roof. The diamond-patterned grille gives the front end a dominant feel. At the same time, the dual-bar LED headlights create individuality. This dual-bar design is also found on the side air vents and the taillights. In comparison, the 2020 Audi Q7 has a linear feel with a horizontal personality line running through the sides. The grid-like mesh in the grille and the elongated headlights add to this look.

The innovative design of the GV80 extends throughout the cabin. Notably, the center console has a bridge-like appearance thanks to a pass-through area with ambient light illumination. This concealed area holds USB ports and other connectors. The top of the center console has wood and metal accents, and it curves graciously to connect with the center stack. The GV80’s other features are heated seats, quilted accents on the leather material, a powerful infotainment system, and more. In the Q7 for 2020, the center console has a similar ascending design. However, the feature is solid and has an extended width. Equipment in the 2020 Audi Q7 may include auto climate management, an infotainment system, mounted steering wheel controls, heated seats, and a few other items.

The 2021 Genesis GV80 can continue delighting you with its exciting capabilities. Its power comes from either a 2.5-liter turbo or a 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine. All-wheel drive is available for enhanced performance capabilities. In the 2020 Audi Q7, you can choose between an I-4 turbo and an I-6 turbo engine. All-wheel drive and other features are also available for the Q7.

Now that you know how well the GV80 stands up against a popular and comparable model, you are ready to take the next step. Reach out to the Genesis of Troy team to make plans for a GV80 test drive.
